NEW! Anato-Bee Badge Program

Descriptions of each badge and how to earn it are listed below. To complete the badges, navigate to the Classwork tab in Google Classroom. Assignments under the Badges title allow you to upload required content and be approved for a badge. 

Badge Requirements

New-Bee

Welcome to the hive, New-Bee! This badge recognizes first-time participants in the Anato-Bee. In order to receive this badge, you must register for, and participate in, the local Anato-Bee competition for the first time.

Busy-Bee

Sound the buzz for the Busy-Bee! This badge recognizes second-time participants in the Anato-Bee. Second-time participants must register for, and participate in, the local Anato-Bee competition two times. In order to receive this badge, you must upload your certificate from the previous year. 

Wise-Bee

Clear the skies for the Wise-Bee! This badge recognizes third-time participants in the Anato-Bee. Third-time participants must register for, and participate in, the local Anato-Bee competition three times. In order to receive this badge, you must upload your certificates from the previous two years. 

Royal-Bee

Roll out the red carpet for the Royal-Bee! This badge recognizes fourth-time participants in the Anato-Bee. Fourth-time participants must register for and participate in the local Anato-Bee competition four times. In order to receive this badge, you must upload your certificates from the previous three years. 

Brainy-Bee

You’ve earned your stripes! This badge recognizes participants that have progressed to the regional competition. Participants must be invited to and participate in one of the regional Anato-Bee competitions. In order to receive this badge, you must upload a screenshot of the email you receive with your regional competition scores. 

Buzz Champion

You’re the bee’s knees! This badge recognizes the winners of the regional competition. Regional competition winners come in first or second place in one of the regional Anato-Bee competitions. In order to receive this badge, you must upload a screenshot of the email you receive with your regional competition scores. 

Bee-Coming Brilliant

Celebrating those committed to learning! This badge recognizes individuals who attend or view every tutoring session. In order to receive this badge, you must upload screenshots of the Zoom meetings (including the date at the bottom of your screen) or screenshots of the 2025 Anato-Bee Local Competition Tutoring YouTube playlist showing all videos that have been watched.

Hive Mate

Learning is more fun when you do it together! This badge recognizes individuals who start or participate in Anato-Bee clubs at their high school. In order to receive this badge, you must upload your club proposal form and club roster. 

Curious-Bee

Way to maximize your resources! This badge recognizes individuals who are using Toltech’s VH Dissector to study for the Anato-Bee. In order to receive this badge, you must register with Toltech and upload a screenshot of the registration page. 

Health Justice-Bee

You’ve completed your journey through health literacy! This badge recognizes individuals who have explored community health through The Roots of Health Inequity Course. In order to receive this badge, you must complete all 10 modules in this course and upload a Certificate of Completion for each.

Community-Bee

Making strides to improve the health of your community! This badge recognizes individuals who have completed the Community Health Worker Training Program for High School Students. In order to receive this badge, you must complete the course and upload a Certificate of Completion.

Investigator-Bee

Celebrating critical thinking and problem-solving in research! This badge recognizes individuals who have completed a virtual or in-person STEMM research program. In order to receive this badge, you must upload a Certificate of Completion or letter from the program director stating you have completed the program.
